19/03/2007: I have not put new work up here for quite some time. I have been using Google's Picasa Web. Click here to visit my gallery.

Welcome to page four of my Photo Gallery. The images are displayed with the most recent on this page at the top. Please check back from time to time as I'll be posting new pictures whenever the muse strikes.

I've been interested in photography for 17 years and have gone almost entirely over to digital capture, first using an EOS 300D (Rebel), and now with my new (April '06) and rather awesome EOS 30D. I have only shot four films in the last two years and a bit.

Here's a mini gallery of pics I took at the 2006 Virginia Airshow. July 2006.
This is the cover I did for the album for the jumbo prints I have printed as proofs. July 2006.
Carmen was obliging enough to pose in front of this grungy wall. April 2006.
I've got a thing about sets of two trees. See page one in my gallery. July 2006.
Rose again. On the Temple Trip, left, and a month earlier in another location. I like high key black and white. April and May 2006.
Maheera on the same Temple Trip. May 2006.
Camera club again. This time we took some models to the Temple of Understanding in Chatsworth. This is Rose. May 2006.
Our camera club was recently given a guided tour of Coedmore Castle, home of the Stainbank family, and one of the older residences in the city. I found this scene in one of the bathrooms. July 2006.
Port Shepstone lighthouse taken in 2005 and processed in early 2006.

A pressure guage on the Umgeni Steam Railway's S.A.R. Class 3BR locomotive which was built by the North British Railway Company in 1912. The pic was taken in 2005.

Clouston Memorial Garden where a number of the dead from Anglo Boer War Battles in the Colenso area were reburied. Taken in 2005.
Taken in July 2005 at the festival at North Beach.
Lookin' out for a hero... The white kids think the black cricketer Makhaya Ntini is very cool. Maybe South Africa will turn out OK, after all.
Driving past the tiny airport in Ladysmith one day in 2006, we saw a Harvard parked on the tarmac and were allowed to take pictures. The aircraft, also known as the North American T-6 Texan, and, although in private hands, still wears its SA Air Force livery.

Crystal's friend Kim also modelled for us. These two pictures open up a bit of a debate because they are two interpretations of the same capture. Can they legitimately be considered as two pictures or just as one?
Crystal came to model for us at the Hillcrest Camera Club, which we established in mid-2006.

Likewise nice and grainy, this time a gull. 2006.

A nice grainy weaver bird. Taken lord knows when and processed in 2006.
